I had all the bridemaids choose their own dresses..kept them under the same designer and color...now I want to get them day of jewlery..thinking silver would go best..or matching the color to crystal beads....do you think I could get them all the same necklace if I kept it simple or should I get something that goes with each individual gown? as suggestions ..on a budget so I'm not looking to spend crazy money but I wanted to get them at least a necklace..already bought them other things..just thought a piece to wear that day would be nice

Re: Jewlery question
Personally I think to keep costs down AND to avoid any possible jealoysu over 'whose necklace is nicer' a.k.a. more headache for you, I would just get them all the same necklace. Maybe crystal necklace? I know swarvoksi necklaces can be affordable if you do internet searches and the clear crystal would compliment all of their dresses. Another helpful bride gave me a website that she ordered customized jewlery for her BMs from. Let me find it and I will give you the info.

Re: Jewlery question
The bride, Chrissy, said that if you tell this company you are buying for a bridal party they will give you a discount. She said they were great to work with.
Also one last word of advice; if you want to get them nice costume jewlery that won't tarnish and won't be a waste of money, seriously look into someplace like MACYS where they sell higher end costume jewlery. I bought a faux pearl necklace and earrings there by CHARTER CLUB and people are always asking me how I dare to wear such beautiful saltwater pearls every day because they are fragile! Its so sad but they look JUST like the expensive REAl ones my poor FH paid an arm and a leg for. He growls when I wear the fake ones LOL.
The necklace cost me about $18.00 I think and the earrings were $10-12.00 and hypoallergenic backs. I know some girls want their BMs to wear pearls and the faux ones by charter are a better bet than freshwater because they have a nicer shape (round instead of irregular) and honestly no one can tell the dang difference so they will wear them again.

Re: Jewlery question
My friend did different jewelry for us girls, and none of use complained that we were jelous of the other girls pieces... she knew our personalities and taste enough that she picked stuff she knew we would like... I personally like when you use the same color but different pieces...
