yeah they either or already might have a house, or plan on using the money they get at their wedding to put towards a down payment, also take into account some people have alot of help in paying for their wedding, AND then there are those who do spend ALOT but put themselves in alot of debt

yeah if u get them individually just at the store theyre like $5 bucks each...just for mags...i work for a publishing company so i get mine super cheap yay one thing that isn't really breaking the bank!
the lady on bridezilla from li took a 2nd morgage on her house or something to pay for her wedding, right?
our parents are paying for most of the rh which is our biggest expense. fh and i are saving our $ to pay for everything else...along with all the $ we've been getting as gifts. ..which helps!

Oooh the results are different from last i saw, there were very few people who took the poll, hmmm interesting.
I know it is crazy, its funny bc i put most of my money away, and ill say ok i NEED to buy this, and itll be something like winter boots lol, then i go to get it and all i think of is our budget and i dont...I drive FH nuts bc ill go shopping and not buy anything lol...I get the urge to just go on a big shopping spree lol but that cant happen lol

Mine we first set a budget for $40,000 but now it has doubled. We realzied that with all the cost it was no where going to be near $40,000. It's getting very expensive. But thank god my parents are paying for everything and me and FH are saving for our house!!!

I know it gets scary, bc ive seen the girls on the 07 boards talking about this and ALOT of them will say how much they thought or wanted to spend and its coming out to alot more and they're over budget, so def a good lesson...Estimate more dont underestimate, its better off...I mean months from now, especially towards the end of 07 i am sure many people will have a different budget than they are at now...Theres just so much we dont take into account or dont add to our budget...A bunch of small things can add up to alot.

my parents are paying a good amount, but i feel bad so i go and pay for things myself lol...Like for the e-party they said they'll pay for it, but i am going today to buy everything for it, favors, table runners, flowers decorations and all that and gonna give them money towards it so the next couple of weeks i am basically not gonna spend any of my paycheck lol, plus i am doing my Income taxes now and we get a bonus in feb so that will all help.
But we have been lucky with getting help and both sides offer to help out.
Nobody has said an exact amount theyre putting in but basically its like whatever comes up this one will pay for this the other for that and so on.
I paid for down payment and Rh installment,my parents did give me $1500 towards it and i put the other $2500 for it. My FHtook care of invitations which actually came out to alot, this was before i saw how much less you can get invitations for lol, installment for e-party, plus he took care of all our x-mas shopping which we went a little overboard, well except my gift to him lol. His parents have put down payment for 2 vendors. So basically how it works, whatever comes up someone will offer. I guess thats how it will go...But i am still putting in ALOT of money

The photographers i actually had guessed more lol, everyone uses this one guy so i always hear about that and i know hes about $9-10,000. Basically the big things i have estimated pretty accurate so far...Its the little things that i know will add up
