Has anyone got fitted for one of his bridesmaid dresses? I got fitted this weekend, im usually a size 10-12 and they sized me as a 20. even my wedding dress is a size 12. has this hapened to anyone?

I got a size 20 for a dress and when it came it was WAYYYYYY too big. they take the measurement of the largest part of your body.

its not just jim hjelm. my MOH is a size 8 and she had to order a 16 b/c of her boobs
im a firm believer with these dresses the number on the tag means nothing!

oh dont worry. his dresses run small. my BM dresses are by him and i tried the sample on that is 2 sizes bigger than my normal size and it was tight. i freaked out but the lady said it was how the dresses run.

That sounds VERY wrong!!!!! I am an 8 and order my dress in a 14 because of my boobs. But a 20?? I would have them re measure you.

I dont think that you should worry about the size #. If the dress fits you and you look gorgeous who cares. I think they re number these just to make us feel bad.

YES!! My BM's ordered Jim Hjelm #JH5677 and they run soooo tiny!!!! My 13yo step-daughter needed to order a 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry, their sizing is just ridiculous!
