Jim Hjelm Jr. Bridesmaid dresses...

Jim Hjelm has FINALLY put out a Jr. Bridesmaid line. Has anyone been to stores that have the samples???

No, but I saw a catalog of them at a bridal shop back in July. I would call some shops that carry Jim Helm and ask if they have the samples.

In July? Now I want to strangle the people at the bridal store. lol.

I ordered my bridesmaid dress about a month ago, and was told that Jim Hjelm doesn't make Jr. Bridesmaids. Then they wanted me to order my bridesmaid dress in the smallest size, and pay 50 bucks on top of that for the major alterations it would need. 80 if the top needed to be changed in anyway and if bust darts had to be removed. That would mean for this one dress to fit a 9 year old, it would cost over 300 bucks, when the regular BM dress cost 215.

All this, and they make Jr. Bridesmaid dresses. Thank God I didn't order her a dress then!!

Maybe that store just didn't carry them yet? I went to a Jim Helm trunk show in July in Hoboken at Elizabeth Bridal and they showed me the catalog. http://www.elizabethbridalcouture.com/
I have two Jr. BM and I still don't know what to put them in!

My BMs will be wearing Jim Hjelm and I have a Jr. BM. I found out the Ms. Jillian designs Jr. BM dresses that go with Jim Hjelm dresses (and they do a few other designers too). Some are exact replicas of the dresses and others are similar styles (appropriate for the age) made of the same materials/colors.
