Anything a fellow slacker should look out for?

Well... one thing I got for slacking is a heck of a time try to find a makeup person that wasn't booked.... the other thing is that my Vera Wang shoes that were on sale got sold out (though not really my fault because they didn't update their website to reflect that)... and I hadn't done any wedding stuff in like, a month, so it all the little things piled up bigtime!!!!!!

Tourist, my fellow slacker, you and I need to get our butts in gear because our weddings are only a few days shy of being FOUR MONTHS AWAY!!

did you find a make-up person & new shoes?

I know-- we need to move!- I just ordered my bridesmaid's dresses last week! They are expected mid-August. I hope that's enough time for the girls to get them altered & get their shoes died.They are both OOT ,so they have to find places on their own.
And one is moving this summer, so she pretty much needs to find a seamstress & shoe dying place as soon as she moves in.

My dress, invites, & headpeice are in & I booked makeup.

We're in the process of - getting addresses, makeing hair appt, getting passsport & picking flowers (appt next week) & tracking down the organist.

Next we need to move on to rings, tuxes & direction cards. (we are having them made up to include everything on 1 card.)


Then there is mostly little stuff,
wrapping for the favors,
gifts, accessories, undergarments, finalizing with priest, getting invitations adressed & stuffed, programs, place cards, table numbers.
