jlf41 - I had the same dress!
I loved my dress - great choice!!!I recommend the french bustle (its bustled under the dress with snaps) - it was so much fun to twirl in and didn't take away from the gathers down the back.
I've never seen anyone with my dress (though I've had lots of girls in here ask me about it) so I was pretty excited when I saw your post.

Re: jlf41 - I had the same dress!
lisat- I remembered that you had the same dress! Isn't it beautiful? I was worried what it would look like without the sleeves, but they did any amazing job with it at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I love your bustle!! I will have to remember that. Would you mind telling me how much you paid for the bustle? I am figuring it was more than the cap that they gave me at BR. They didn't charge me to take the sleeves off, so maybe I can splurge for the bustle. Your pictures are just gorgeous! I see you wore a headpiece and necklace. I was afraid that would be too much with the bodice but it looks great. What were your thoughts on that? What did you wear in your ears?

Jessica - I had the same concern about the necklace and headpiece being too much for the bodice. I actually wanted my headpiece in the back, but I couldn't get my stylist to work with me on that and the day of, I gave up. It was simply pearls and crystals.I tried on a million necklaces, I was originally going for something much smaller, but when I put that choker on, it all came together.
The bustle was definitely a splurge (it wasn't included in my cap). I think it was $10 a point, and there were something like 11 points (snaps).
In my ears, I had a small cluster of diamonds in a similiar flower shape to the beading. Here's a closer shot (though you still can't see my ears).
I can't wait to see whats yours looks like without sleeves! Does it stay up well?
