HITCHED! JENNIFER LOPEZ'S SURPRISE WEDDING June 5, 2004
JENNIFER LOPEZ has done it again! ET has learned that the former runaway bride married newly divorced Latin MARC ANTHONY in a surprise wedding late Saturday afternoon. White tents were erected in the singer's backyard over the weekend and classical music could be heard playing. Sources tell ET Anthony arrived at the nuptials with Lopez's mother, GUADALUPE.
In full wedding regalia, including an elegant full-length gown and white umbrella, Lopez walked down a rose pedal strewn aisle. About 40 guests watched as the couple exchanged vows under a flower covered bridal arch. Lopez sparkled from head to toe with diamonds gracing her hair as well as diamond earrings, a necklace and bracelet, while Anthony sported diamond cufflinks. Guests then entered the party tents to sample the catered fare as echoes of big band music filled the air. When contacted by ET, Lopez's spokesperson, ROB SHUTER, would neither confirm nor deny that Lopez and Anthony had indeed tied the knot.
This is the third marriage for Jenny from the Block, who was famously engaged to BEN AFFLECK last year before calling off their planned nuptials. She and Anthony first dated in 1999 and rumors that they were back together began again when the twosome were spotted dining together after the Golden Globe(R) Awards, just five days after her very public split from Ben, and only weeks after Anthony's ex wife DAYANARA TORRES filed for divorce from their 3-1/2-year marriage. Just last week, Anthony was granted an even speedier split in the Dominican Republic.

REALLY...I think this does BAD things for her career, no-one takes her seriously anymore because its all about who she is married to at the time....spend some time alone for goodness sakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was on netscape. Its sad, she's 33and on her 3rd marriage. My FI said it won't last.
I think it's true...usually if they have details like that it's true.
And I wonder if he's her 'true love' but they ended up dating and marrying other people because timing wasnt' right because it just seemed so coincidental that as soon as he broke up with his wife she and Ben were over.
I wonder how Ben is feeling about all this. I think I would feel kinda weird about her getting hitched so soon after breaking up with him. But I hope this one actually works out.

Ya never know you could be right. But, they should have at least waited a few years. Make sure it's right!!
Famous or not if my sister/child pulled this all the time I'd think they were off their rocker!!
I don't think it will last forever. If it even lasts till 2005.

I feel so bad for his ex wife..I saw an interview with him and she was so sad, he cheated on her I guess a few times..and I watched their wedding9Marc Anthony and his ex)..it was so romantic....hes an idiot! Ive never beena big JLO fan..I think she's pretty, but very tacky and I think ben Afflick was never real..I think they scammed that up forratings on their crappy as% movie Gigli.

I agree- they have beens friends for a long time & so maybe this one is real. I hope for them this works out. Its seems more ral, b/c they jsut did it- without all thehype that surrounded her engagement to Ben Affleck.
I do feel bad for their exes. Especially Marc Anthony's b/c I think they broke up & got back together, I believe they have child. Not sure about that though. He has a child, but not sure if it's hers.
