Re: JM Ring Insurance Question
I used State Farm, just added it to my renters and now it will be added to my homeowners, it about $100 year. And thats coverage up to $15,000 (i think) which is MORE than enough for me at least. Make sure you insure it for all areas, like theft, lost, damaged, etc.
If you don't have renters or homeowners and live with your parents, the best way to do it is ask your parents to add it to their homeowners policy.
I have jewelers mutual. I need to read my policy more thoroughly...

Re: JM Ring Insurance Question
I really never thought of that. I pay $300 per year with JM, but I'm sure I could use the same jeweler FH bought the ring from as they're the ones that gave us the JM paperwork.
Why not just call and ask?

Re: JM Ring Insurance Question
Yes you can go to your jewler as long as they honor jewler mutual. I had a stone loss and it was fixed for free. You can ask you jewler they may tell you. I asked the person who did our appraisals. You can also call them.

Re: JM Ring Insurance Question
wow that is definitely a really high quote for insurance! i put it on my homeowner's insurance for around 100 dollars a year. maybe like some of the other girls said, you could put it on renter's insurance or even a family member's homeowner's insurance?
