Same here and they were stunning!
Not to be negative, but I know of someone whose pictures they lost. To make up for it they said the best they could do is pay to have their hair and makeup done and to rent another tux and take pictures on another day. I think this happened a while ago, but it would still make me nervous since I have enough to worry about on my wedding day.

One of the teachers I work with was not impressed with the photographer they had for the wedding. But, my other friend is using JoVon and paying the extra $1000 to have him take the pictures.

No not personally, but a friend of mine used them and her pics were awesome!
My brother and I are using them.. ( he is getting married this march) My BM at Carlyle actually recommended them.She used them for her wedding..There is a catch though.. The only photographers I would reccommend there would be Telmo and David and that is strictly from other vendors knowing them and recommendations from other people you meet along the way. My sister in law had a bad experience with one of them..So what i would say if you do go with Jovon only go with Telmo or Jovon as your main shooter and David as your second (havent heard many negative things about second shooters there but I know David is good)..FM me if you want further details.. I read the above post about losing pictures though it gets me a little nervous about my engagement pictures..I took themback in Sept and I never went there to make an appt to pick them up (my own fault) bc I got them online..but I called them and they said they showed 'picked up' in their computer but it must have been a mistake and they will mail me my proofs..that was last week..so we shall see!

that is so horrible. how do they just lose someones wedding pictures.

Hi! I am very interested in using Telmo and Dave for my wedding. I am a little concerned because of the post that you left about losing photos. Could you give me more details please? Also, did they fix this mistake- I know it is an unfixable error but did they try?
my friend used jo von....her pics are amazing but cost a whooooole lot.
