Job Help!!!

Please help! Does anyone know of any good jobs out there? I am drowning in misery at my job. I am open for suggestions.

I agree with the bank. Good luck with whatever you do, but do something. Life is too short to be that miserable at work!

I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in Education. I was unable to find a teaching job so now I have been working at a college for the last year and a half.

there are a bunch of teachers on here...maybe they know of any openings...or u can post on bhb...did u try private/catholic schools???

Districts are always looking for subs and most are paying over a $100 a day....check it out

Are you a certified teacher in MS/HS or elementary? Subbing is a good idea if you don't need benefits. Sub teachers in NYC make about 130 a day...

I am certified in elementary. I can not afford to not have medical insurance, so subbing can't work for me.

It is definatley who you know on the Island! But I can't even get anything in the city. I would be fine with going to Brooklyn or Queens. What do you teach?

There is going to be a carrere fair this week (Saturday March2nd0 in central islip. There will be several schools there with open positions in a school(teachers, special educators, pyschologist etc.) Check it out it is posted on the boces web site. No admission for the fair.
