Hi! I posted this the other day, but I'm posting it again!!
My office is looking for a medical biller with some experience, but we'd train if need be. The office is in East Islip. Its a full time position, but theres some flexibility w/the hours. I'm the supervisor! Imagine working for me? How exciting would that be?! Ok, maybe not very exciting, but its a nice laid back environment and we need someone. We also get free lunch like 3 days a week. FM me if interested asap!!!

Anyhow, I'm sure it only pays about $14-$15 an hour. Not too alluring!

Well, it IS in suffolk...
right. I'll see if my maid is looking for a part-time job and get back to you. I keep her VERY busy though, so I wouldn't count on it

but i guess i will be serious and ask how much knowledge do you need to have regarding medical billing...is 0 ok???
i am kinda looking for a change in my job. and sad to say i do not get paid days off and i only get paid $14.50 an hour i need to get out of my job. but i really cant get any job with a BA in psych and going to school for my Masters in Education. My mom keeps telling me to get a teaching job but HELLO MOM i cant because I am not certified yet. OK this just became a vent sorry Heather. But anyway yea do you need alot of experience??

My MOH is looking for a job. She works on the weekend, so it's impossible to plan wedding stuff with her. What are the hours for this job? If she can have saturdays off, I'll send you her resume. I'm serious. btw, she has no experience in medical billing, but I do.

Ok here are some answers about the job. It is a medical office (family practice) and its a billing position. The person would have to post insurance payments, call insurance companies about denials, possibly some patient bills and follow up, etc. I'm not sure yet which specific tasks I'm going to have the person do. SOME medical experience is necessary, b/c I'm not training someone from scratch!! Its just too much work. Medical knowlege and common sense are probably the two best things you can have coming into this job. If you have those, I can help you learn the rest. I need to fill this position ASAP. BTW, it does NOT have health benefits, but it is a family practice office so you and anyone in your family (ie that lives with you) can be seen/treated free of charge, and you'd be able to have samples of meds. Um, lets see. its a 37.5 hour work week but you get paid for a 30 min lunch every day. Sometimes I bring in my cats. Hm. I cant think of anything else pertinant.
