Job Spinoff: What did you do to get 'back' at mean customers?

Did you ever do anything to get back at people who were nasty to you or treated you like slaves?

When I was in a senior in HS, I worked at a Gap. Sometimes, when I had an especially obnoxious nasty customer who was bossing me around and treating me like a slave I would get them back. For example, if they wanted me to check in the back for a size and color, I would find the shirt, rub it all over the floor so it got dirty, bring it back out and say, in my sweetest voice, 'I'm sorry, the only medium we have left in white is dirty' and I would hold it up and show her!

I would just say we didn't have their size in stock althought we did.

I worked at a pizza place for 3 years. 1 time, I had a VERY rude customer. I ran into the kitchen and cried.

My 2 coworkers made this guy's pizza and spit ALL OVER it right before they baked it!

So many times I was tempted to do something to someone's food, but I just couldn't do it.

So now I just make people add things to their contracts, makes me $$$

OMG - I think I'm sorry I asked!!

I can't think of anything specific.

When I was a waitress at a comedy club there were a few times when I accidentally doused people with drinks. There were times when I was SOOOO tempted to 'accidentally' do the same thing to rude customers, but I could never bring myself to do it.

Someone else at this same place also spit in someone's food, got caught and got fired.

Seriously, you should never mess with people who serve your food.

This is why I am always and I do mean always nice to waiters & anyone who is taking my order.

I used to work in a deli in hs, and got treated like CRAP. I would just smile and be so nice, they HATED it and would get even more mad

Oh yes!
When I was a cashier at a supermarket, if the customer was mean to me, when I would pack their bread or grapes or something like that, I would squeeze it inside the bag when they couldnt see my hand.

I sent my old neurotic B*tch on wheels boss a subscription to Playboy at the office Everyone thought she was a lesbian and when she used to get it in her inbox she would grab it quickly and hide it Abnd obviously she got invoiced for it!

There is a book that is a compilation of stories like this - some are pretty sick. It's called something like Sabotage in the American Workplace. Good stuff!

Customers=brides and brides-to-be, thus I take the website off line!
