JOB VENT! (REALLY long)
OHMYGOD!!! I hate my job more than anything in the world!! MY boss is the biggest JERK...I have a friend who worked there for 11 years. She got pregnant with her son, and when she came back from maternity leave, she got demoted...they cited--'you did a better job at the other position'...Bunch of BS...she was the 'meat and potatoes' of that company---was there longer than the current owner (he came from London 7 years ago) We beleive they were just being prejudice because she took off to have a baby....they are sneaky in there...when she had her second child a year or so later, she played them...let it blow up in their face...and never came back...(actually was granted total disability because of all the head games they played with her---she had a nervous breakdown because of this idiot boss) ANyways our office manager has been away on maternity leave since the end of march...due to return June 2.....today she calls into another girl who has worked there for 6 years, 3 years in the same position---and DEMOTED her too.....its getting out of control...they are putting the newest girl in there (who kisses this jerks @ss and her mom is frends with his Wife)...she has no idea what she is even doing..but they gave this other one the same line :you did better in the other position, don;t take this the wrong way' I think my days are limted....either I will get demoted (I am an Underwriters assistant) or I will QUIT---I have had it!! I cannot beleive what this happy place I used to like to wrok at has turned into...its so frustrating to work our tails off, and then hear he told the office manager that he does not think anyone deserves a raise in there...we ahve not gotten anything since December 2001. I think my days are limited...I don;t need all this stress and CRAP..and to boot---this boss still did not even mention me getting married....what a Jerk....I will come back from my honeymoon and be demoted probably!! IDIOTS!!!
