Is anyone else truly truly unhappy at their job? I dread walking in this place every day.

This particular job is working in a medical office. I do billing. I also do it from home and teach part time, and those arent awful. But this... its awful.

i like my job. but it doesnt pay nearly enough. im looking for something else.. but nothings happening yet.

I dread it as well, BUT i'm just happy to be collecting a paycheck.,

At first I didnt like it but I like it. No one bothers me, only one week out of the month I get really busy, everyone goes away almost every weekend so Im by myself. Its a small company with few people and I dont deal with any outside people so thats good. Where else can I be on LIW and myspace and every site I want all day long, hahaha. There are some other jobs out there that they work you from morn to night. I remember when I worked in retail OMG I wanted to kill every person that I dealth with, thats where I realized tha people in this world are crazy

I am with you too. But I just got a promotion yesterday so hopefully the $ will be following shortly! That might make me a little happier!

I was just telling a friend of mine this morning that I have never felt so un-appreciated in all my life. If i make a suggestion saying maybe the sky is blue today - my manager will say no, it's gray. Then he'll go outside later and come back in and say - the sky is blue today...wonder why i didn't notice it.. Never once realizing I said the sky is blue...

Just an example - but i am made to feel so worthless.

What makes it worse is that when I started - my manager was HEAVEN sent! I never had it better!!! Raise, company stock - made me feel important - even if i just asked a dumb question...

This guy is such a moron - he won't listen to ANYTHING I SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DREAD coming in...truly dread it.

Congrats on your promotion - and i'm truly sorry people resent you for it....that is really hard to deal with!!

I love my office. That's really why I like my job I have great bosses. I would like to work from home though. Since I run m department, that isn't an option for me *sigh*
