jobs?

I am finishing up my Master's Degree in Education, and will be student teaching all day mon-fri in the Fall which stinks because I can't work anywhere and I don't get paid for student teaching!!

I also have one class on tues and wednesday from 530-730pm, but I am trying to think of a job for monday, thurs, and fri late afternoon/evenings or weekends so I can make a little cash this semester My Fh has a good job and said he can help me out this summer, but we are closing on a home and between mortgage payments and everything I just feel like I need to make a little cash every week until I graduate and get a full-time job.

any ideas??

What about the Avon, or lia sophia or something along those lines where you can make your own hours.

I waitressed throughout student teaching..and the first few years of grad school and teaching. I had worked at the restaurant for a while though so it was really easy to make my own schedule.

Tutoring is great money too!

Look into working evenings at a group home for developmentally disabled adults. Due to my agencies strict social media policy I can not say where I work, but these settings are always looking for people and it will be good for your resume (even though it's not a school setting) to have experience working with developmentally disabled people.

Also, it can be a lot of fun and the individuals you work with will really touch your heart.

Contact the school or district u are doing your student teaching with. There may be after school programs or enrichment type programs you could work. I worked an after school homework club when I student taught back in the day.

This! I also tutored when I did student teaching. Put up an ad somewhere and do it at an affordable price. You'd be surprised how many calls you get. That was the best, easiest money and you can make your own schedule.
