'09er crashing!!!

We actually just started a joint money market account via Teachers' FCU for the wedding. (We have a joint checking and savings account in which we put half of our paychecks into each pay period to help mutually pay our rent and utilities.)

Re: joint accounts

we opened one right after our e-party, every month we both have to deposit a certain amount into the account. we never touch it because it is our house fund

We have a joint checking at Capital One bank. I love it. You get rewards points for using it. We use it to pay for everything for the wedding to rack up the points.

I have my own account but when we started talking about getting married we opened a joint checking and savings account. He uses the checking and we both put our money for the wedding in that savings account. I love it because it is linked to my own account at the bank. Eventually we will combine our money into the joint checking.

We set up a joint savings which is the same branch to both our individual checking which we can transfer when we need to pay vendors.

But for now we are just transferring into the savings account each week.
