Why are jordan almonds soo expensive??? I just can't justify to spend $20 a bag. I'm going to need at least 2 bags and its like $50 for just a 'look' on the favor. Does anybody know where I can get them cheaper? I went to party city, michaels, ebay, google. The shipping is not worth it to pay either. I'm trying not to be cheap about this but they are just to fill like 5 in a little tulle bag. I would use hershey kisses or something but Greek tradition is jordan almonds. Although, there will be jordan almonds in church on that tray thing. I'm not Greek, FH is so I'm still learning. Can anyone help me maybe Greek brides or someone who has found these almonds cheaper? Thank you so much! This is what I feel like after checking all these stores

also I remember Michaels selling them too but dont remember how much they cost

you can get them at this place right off the LIE in syosset it is a warehouse party/wedding favor type place...i will ask my mom the name i forget at the momemt....FM me if you need...

Usually when you do the favors at certain places they will include the jordan almonds...I'm talking about Italian and Greek places. Where are you doing your favors? It might be the cheapest to have them include it with the favor.

I did this too.. I had them make the flower and it came out to like $1.50 a flower with 5 almonds each in them and its cheaper that way than buying it seperate

Were they really $20 a bag at Michael's? When I got them for my sister's shower they were maybe $7 a bag there...although this was in summer of 2007, so maybe inflation.

You include five with each favor and it means something... Like Wealth, Fertility, Love, Happiness, and something else. I could be wrong though.
