I really want to have my cousin's daughter in the wedding but I am not sure if I should make her a Junior Bridesmaid or a Flower Girl. She is 8 years old but a little on the bigger side for her age, meaning she just looks a little bit older. I also have 2 other girls as flower girls and they are 4 & 6 years old (they are teeny tiny little girls too). Can I make an 8 year old a Junior Bridesmaid or is that too young?
The other thing is this same girl is going to be a flower girl in another wedding that is 3 months after mine, so this is throwing me off! Any advice?

Make her a Jr. bridesmaid, shes not too young. My niece is 10 and thats what she's going to be.

Re: Jr Bridesmaid or Flowergirl?
I responded to a post on here yesterday with something I read on the knot... basically a Jr Bridesmaid is a girl between 9-14 (of course that age can vary).... so if she's a little bigger and looks older, I don't see any problem with making her a Jr Bridesmaid, especially since you already have 2 little ones as Flower girls. That's pretty cool that she gets to be a Flower girl AND a Jr Bridesmaid in one year.... you can kinda play that up with her too!

I'd make her a jr. bridesmaid since you've already got the little ones for FGs!

we didnt have a FG or RB so we made my fiance's cousin our FG...she is 9 also. But she is wearing a little more mature dress and carrying a bouquet instead of a petal basket.

Re: Jr Bridesmaid or Flowergirl?
thank you for the advice! I think I will end up making her a Jr Bridesmaid since the other 2 little girls are younger and can be flower girls. Just needed some reassurance!

I can't post the picture but my 3 nieces are the same age and my 8 & 6 y/o were my jr. bridesmaids & my 4 y/o was my flower girl.

Re: Jr Bridesmaid or Flowergirl?
If you check my review I posted I have three girls, two that are 6 1/2 and one that was 9. I put them all in the same dress because I was having a similar issue. I didn't give them any titles. The little twins carried small bouquets and I had the florist put down the petals on each side of the aisle runner.
