well we tasted alot of food when we went to look at the place, there was a wedding going on so they brought us food into the office. Plus we've been to weddings there and even went after we booked.
I guess when we go in for the final meeting

good question - i have no clue about these stuff
ETS: 'these stuff' WOW i need to wake up!
I think it would be before we plan our final menu. I can't plan mine until at least summer since my mom still can't eat out at restaurants because of her immune system.

They brought us a plate of the antipasto when we went to look at the place and that was it. I want hot food!

Re: JT Brides
I tasted some of the food when i went to the bridal showcase. I'm assuming we would do the tasting around the time we have to pick out our menu.
I probably should call and find out.
Good questions. I never think of things like this!

Same here. They're really nice when you go there for the first time. I got to taste SOME of there foods and I went to a wedding there a couple of week back so I had a lot of food from the CH, dinner, and VH hour- yummy.
Have to say FH was a big disappointed with their steak so he's going to mention it to them when we go in to finalize our menu.

i am not sure if i am going to pick the steak...i think i might go with the filet mignon instead. Maybe have him try that to see which he likes better.

Never for a wedding. We did go to a bridal showcase in November and I was going specifically for the food but I didn't see any! I was so ticked because we didn't eat dinner! I don't know how I missed it.

Yeh I think the entrees you choose are the most important. The CH you know is almost good all the time because it's all cold dishes except for the hot chafing food.
He's never had the filet mignon so you're right. I''ll have him taste it and see which one he likes best.
What do most people eat though between the steak and filet mignon?

the first time i went wasnt packed and they had waiters with trays and also some food set up in the CH room. The last 2 times i went it was so packed. They had the food in the kitchen, it was confusing bc i couldnt see it at first either

i personally get neither bc i rather have something else besides redmeat, i usually go for the seafood dish. You dont have to worry about which ppl pick most bc you have the choose of either or, so whoever wants redmeat will go with what option you give them. Plus they still have 8 other options to choose from

Re: JT Brides
We had a tasting before we booked, we wouldn't have booked if we could not sample the food.
We liked the prime rib, but I dont think they offer it anymore
The filet was great
we did not try the strip steak
I did not care for the Salmon, but the shrimp oregonata was very very good
