I wasnt even thinking about blocking rooms out until someone mentioned it to me yesterday. I have lots of family coming in from Philly and wouldnt want them driving back especially after partying. JT Brides, are you blocking rooms out at a specific hotel nearby? If so, which one and does it cost anything up front to block the rooms?

Sounds good. Do they charge a deposit to block rooms?? And are you supposed to go there and do this or can you call and set it up??? Sometimes I feel so clueless about everything![]()
OH and when you block rooms, how do you let people know. Do they give you cards to put in t he invites or something?!

The deal with the Wingate Inn is you need to book 15 rooms to get the free shuttle. Call Jessica and let her know you're a JT bride and need to block 15 rooms. Their number is 516-705-9000. I've been told there is a bridal suite too so book that if you want. I haven' t been there to see the place, but it's new and I'm told is gorgeous. The shuttle is our big seller. We won't be blocking rooms until October.

I am booked at Wingate also and I have the bridal suite. There are 3 different suites, all of them are gorgeous. My mom even booked a suite for the night of my wedding b/c they are pretty cheap. We also booked an after party in the hotel bar for after the reception
I just called them and they were very helpful. Are any of you staying in one of the bridal suites?
