so a few weeks back a girl who jus had her final meeting or her menu meeting, one of the two mentioned that the person told her that $5 is the 'suggested' tip pp for the matried. this is a BIG jump from the suggested 3-5 tip that they usually say and im a little annoyed by it. i understand i dont have to do the 5 pp but now its as if you're gonna be a cheap skate if you give under, ya know. 5 is a lot and its a little rude i think that they are not even suggesting a range anymore. i was planning on giving $3.5-$4.50 per person (some halls even say 2-5, right?) so i thought my amount was good.

I think it is totally up to you!!! I know at my sisters wedding (at East Wind) they gave a suggested amount. Then my parents went over that bc the guy was GREAT!!! It is a tip, never feel obligated to gave a dollar amount or like a cheap skate. They should have to work for that $5pp

um, i promise you i wont be giving them 5 pp..out of the ridiculous amount of money they're getting from me they can figure it out amongst themselves..

I whole heartedly agree. I will tip them what I feel they deserve based on their service.
