Hey guys I'm trying to decide between JT or CLM I'm planning a Sept. wedding Fri or Sun and havn't even booked a hall !!!! I got a couple dates for both so it is still possible. I think I can pull it off though but have to start doing some MAJOR catching up. Can't decide between the two what do you think?

I have been to both..and the food and service was great at both! i don't think you could go wrong either way! not to mention..but they are both gorgeous, also.

CLM 1. you get ALOT for your money + you have an outdoor scenery.
2. Beautiful scenery.When I was looking, FH was in love with JT, but I cared more about scenery (the water).
3. 1 Wedding at a time
4. Yacht Arrival ( u get that grand entraance, not sure if avail. in sept. tho)
5. Did I say scenery ? U get a scene in both rooms.

Both are very good halls, it depends on what you'd like your wedding to be like...if you want a beachy theme or feel to your wedding then CLM is the way to go, but if you want a traditional yet modern kind of wedding then JT is the way to go...

i found the price at CLM to be much better....my friend got married there in spetember and it was beautiful!!! she had an afternoon reception and the transisiton from daylight to evening was beautiful...the view is amazing!!! and i love that they bring you to the CH on a yacht ( unles it rains)
over all i have always liked CLM better i am so glad our date was open

CLM - i was considering VYC for a week until i got the pricing and found out what i was getting vs the price. I have to say I do enjoy the view at VYC but you really do get more bang for your buck at clm.
I also though service was better.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. Getting married on the water was a must for me, so if I were to choose between the two, it would be CLM. If you are not a water person, JT looks absolutely stunning.

I'm a JT girl! For my taste, there were things at CLM that werent me....thats how you need to decide....I couldnt picture us at CLM....if you really sit down and imagine your wedding...where do you see yourself being?

JT girl here. So definitely have a preference. I had orginally thought I wanted a beachy wedding, but after my Epics on teh beach & how bad my hair got messed up with the beach water near by.. I no longer feel bad about not having one..lol.

i think it only depends on what type of wedding YOU want to have. If you want to be by the water then CLM.
Also depends on how many guests you have, dont go by what CLM tells you for the big room. I was told 300 and there was no way.
we all are different and look for different things. Its not that one is right over the other. You should go with your feeling

we didnt go to CLM but from the pictures there were parts of the place that looked old and dated -the appearance of the place was important to me - i didnt really care about the color scheme or theme of the place (because to be honest JT screams gawty to me and its not really my style) but i wanted the place to still look new - and i felt that the rooms we are using at JT look new.....im also biased to JT b/c FSIL had an amazing wedding there, and we wanted the dome room for our reception......also im having a december wedding and getting married at a place like CLM in December would be pointless to me - if we were having a summer wedding than i could def see myself having my wedding at CLM because i love ocean views and being on the water - its gorgeous! if i couldnt make up my mind and i liked both i would pick whatever place was less expensive no but really, if its hard to decide than maybe you should pick based on price - that is what i would do.....
