I read all three recently. I loved Summer sisters. I couldn't put Smart Women down and I liked Wifey.
It was weird though reading Judy Blume books with curses and mentioning sex!

They were written in the 70's and 80's I remember my Mom reading Wifey. Someone told me about Summer Sisters and I was hooked. Now I wish she had written more!!!

And, Blubber...anyone remember that one? I think I read it in one day...I loved that book...
I may try to read one of her adult books...I'm looking for a good read now anyhow...need to pass the time on the subway rides to and from work.

I've only read Summer Sisters...and I lovde it - I really liked the images it evoked and the way it was written.

I think I read Wifey when I was 13. I remember my Mom had it in the house and I wasn't supposed to read it, but I sneaked and did it anyway. It was so long ago I don't really remember it.
I definitely remember Are you There God?.... and Blubber.
I think it would be fun to re-read those as an adult. I'd also like to read her 'adult' books, too. Maybe I should go on a Judy Blume kick after I'm finished with the Harry Potter series (that I still need to start!)

I read Wifey and my Dad found it I got in big trouble!!!!! My friend had highlighted all the 'good' parts so he called her Mother and she got in trouble too.

I remember when I started reading it and in the first chapter it talks about the guy on the motorcycle, sheet and helmet and describes the day and I was like HOLY CRAP am I reading Judy Blume!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Wasn't Forever also by Judy Blume?
I remember a sleepover with an older friend reading Wifey and being like 'OH MY GOSH' ;-) Oh to be 11 again.

oh i read Summer Sisters and was shocked! LOL..something about the 'power' I think
ETA: OMG When I read Forever I knew all the 'good parts' (I was in junior high i think) LOL I remember all my friends saying 'check out page 45' or whatever it was
