Julius Bridal (makes designer inspired dresses)...

What if any, was your experience with this place? My initial experience started off good then it went completely down hill from there!

I am having my dress, BM dresses, FSIL and my future aunt in law dress made by julius. We are going tomorrow for their dress fitting.

What problem are you having?

Are the dresses actually ready? If so that is good. Give yourself enough time before your wedding b/c I had to have things re-done many many times. Including my bridesmaids dresses and b/c there is only 2 of them (julius and his wife), I always get the excuse of how they have 'so much work to do' and have had other 'bridal emergencies'. There were a few errors with my dress. My dress is very elegant and simple so the errors were very noticeable and I am embarrassed to admit that I STILL don't have my completed dress yet

I am sure you will have a better experience, but I would love to see your dress once you see it. If you can post it that would be great!

Well their dresses are ready and they are trying them on tomorrow. My dress is due July 4th so it gives me 2 months to the wedding if there are any issues.

Do you have a pic of your dress?

You dont have a completed dress yet and your getting married next week??? I am so sorry your going thru this. I know lately they are getting swamped but its no excuse.

When did you order your dress?

I ordered my dress at the end of january. i think that was more than enough time, but some many errors and mishaps occured after that, it basically became a disaster for me.

Keep me posted about how it goes for you tomorrow

I will try and remember to take photos when I get pics of my dress. You do the same

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear the problems you are having. I actually went there to try on dresses but got frustrated because there wasn't anything my style there. But I did feel that she was very nice and the gowns were beautiful. I hope everything works out for you!

I went yesterday to try on my bm dresses and my fsil dress and they came out GREAT!!!!!!!!! They need to be let out a tad bit but they are going back in July for a real fitting.

I finally picked up my dress. There were a few minor issues, but I went through so much, I just grabbed my dress and took it home. Completely forgot my camera, but took a few w/ my camera phone and they didn't come out to well, so maybe when I come back from the HM, I can post pics of the wedding! I can't believe I only have 4 MORE DAYS TO GO!!

Don't forget to post pics of your dress.

I'm debating ordering a 2nd dress from them, I met with them this afternoon and I'd love to know specifically what they screwed up on your gowns (other than delivery time) maybe someone could FM me? Thanks so much. I'm just a little hesitant to order from them Also, which dresses did you order?

I ordered my dresses from Julius and I have not had an issue. My BM dresses came out great and on time. My dress is coming in July, hopefully with no issues. To be certain you wont have an issue you may not want a complete custom dress...maybe you would want to pick a dress they have made before and make an alterations to that.
