My family seems to be fine with it. We haven't told his family yet. Am I mean to feel that if his family isn't paying anything towards the wedding that they have no say?

One of my best friends got married 7/3/2007 & our other best friend is getting married 7/3/2012...both Tuesdays. My friend got a ridiculously cheap rate at Russo's for her 7/3/2012 wedding. I have no problems with that date.
