July 4, 2004 bride

Has anyone gotten married on July 4th and if so did you do a July 4th theme? If so what did you do? I am trying to think of some ideas and I need help. Thanks.

I was a guest at a July 4th wedding 4 years ago. They did a 'Swing Era/Big Band theme' it was at the Crescent Club, and very nicely done. Unfortunately for the men, they had to all dress in zoot suits & it was really hot, but we had a great time anyway.

This year I saw a 4th of July wedding at the church near my house & the girls were dressed in Blue, but I don't know if it was the theme.

I am interested in the same thing. I am getting married July 2, 2005. I will brainstorm and keep you updated on any ideas.

A friend of mine got married last July 4, Her hubby is in the military so they had him in his uniform, the bride in white the moh in red and the bridesmaids in blue. They then did the flowers with the bride in all white the moh in all blue and the bridesmaids in red. It looked really great. The centerpieces of course were red white and blue and had sparklers at every table.......It was so much fun.
