July 4th events near Woodbury

Hi. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a great place to go around Woodbury for a forth of July get together??? My reception ends at 6:30pm.

Also, any special things to do in the area for people that have never been there? As you can tell I am not from the area!!

I know there are fireworks at Jones Beach, but with traffic there is no way you'd be able to make it...

There must be a show on the north shore somewhere...try the town of Oyster Bay and the town of North Hempstead and see what they have planned
