July 4th Weekend Brides

How are you all doing? I am hanging in there, but I still have A LOT to do

I am sending the balance to the DJ along with our list of songs for the entrance, etc and our Must Play/Do Not Play List. I am also sending directions and a timeline to the limo company.

I am waiting for the music director at the church to fax me music selections so I can pick my music. Then I need to finish my programs.

I have to print out the menus.

I need to get the hotel boxes squared away - although I think I will do this Wed when I get up to NY so that I can leave teh gable boxes folded until I need them.

I need to finish the place card candles this weekend. Would be done with this already if all of my guests had responded promptly

And, of course, I still have to pack for the HM, but that can wait.

It looks like I will not be sleeping this weekend at all!

Ugh, I know. I have SO much to do this weekend but I want to make sure I sleep because I am so afraid of getting sick!! I had a sore throat and was really run down last week and I don't want that to happen again!!

So here's what I have left...

Finish programs in PageMaker and drop off at Kinko's

Write out all seating cards (I tried clear labels to save time but they just don't look right.

Last dance lesson Saturday

Talk to band leader

Talk to photographers

Print up welcome letters for guests at hotel (I wrote them up but thankfully DF is printing them out!)

Pick up dress (Monday after work)

PACK!!!


And I'm trying to get it all done before I head up to NY (also on Wed...Becky, what time are you leaving??? Maybe we'll see you on the road!

Sorry, can't help but say that in 2 years, I will be in the same boat. I'm getting married July 3, 05! Have fun ladies and enjoy it all!

Hello! I can't believe our weekend's coming up! I know, so much to do! Yikes! Make sure you get your sleep b/c it would stink to get sick for the big day.

Here's what we have left to do (that I can think of right now anyway):

placecards

table number thingies (we're doing states we've been to instead of numbers)

hotel bags

bathroom basket for reception hall

polish off 1st dance

2 fittings (I know I left that to the last minute) and pick up dress

caterer for the day after lunch

talk to DJ
