i like the color many people are picking there own colors not based on the season but on what they like it is such a stunning color

i can't see the color because i'm at work...so i see very few pictures -

BUT....

if you like the color - who cares if it's dark or light?? I was MOH in my MOH's wedding last year & we wore the darkest possible purple & it looked wonderful!!!

I agree...i don't see it as christmas-y, but rather more like a autumn color.

Then again, who cares about the colors matching the season...you can have neon green dresses if you want!

I think it's fine. I don't think certain colors fall into certain seasons... I think it's the flowers that make it seasonal.

i think the dress is very pretty, personally i wouldn't pick that particular color for my wedding (which is in the summer) but if you love it, there's nothing wrong with it! if it's what you want, go for it!

I personally agree... I don't see the need to match colors with seasons... My wedding is in mid September which is still summer but so close to fall and my BM's are wearing baby pink... Everyone said I should be using a 'fall' color but it's what I like... It's your wedding, do what you like!!

It's lace - it's also $30 from Issac Mizrahi for Target! The only problem is I'd have to order it in order to really see the quality of it. My BMs would love me if that's all they had to spend, lol!

Its YOUR wedding who cares what season the color is linked to....do what u want..........i have seen pink around christmas and forest green in summer!

i think you could wear that in the summer....its a summery dress , just a darker shade of red.

It would look beautiful if your girls wore a white flower in their hair....white and that color red would be a pretty combo for the summer!
