What is your decision on the stamp increase issue?
I think I will make sure to mail mine out before May 12th so that I can put the current price on the invites and then put the extra postage on the rsvps. Is it bad just to buy forever stamps for the RSVP's?

Re: July Girls
I really dont care about the stamp. I'm going to use the forever stamps on everything. Noone looks at the stamps.
You could put a picture of your a$$ and noone would notice

Re: July Girls
hey im sending them out before may 12th like you said without the extra postage on the outer envelope and then adding a one cent stamp to the inner RSVP envelope buy you can also use the liberty bell forever stamps

I'm going to be sending out before 5/12 as well. I was just going to put the forever stamps on the rsvp envelope. i'm hoping that my postage for my invites won't be too much i don't think it will be.

Re: July Girls
I'm planning on mailing before the increase and I'll be using the wedding stamps on the reply +penny stamp.
I wouldn't be opposed to the forever stamp, doubt anyone would notice or care...
ETA: wow..... i guess i should probably order my invites soon, huh...

Re: July Girls
I am going to put the forever stamp on the response...the heart on the outside. I am putting a response date for May 30 that way FH and I have time to make phone calls and order last minute things for the reception....
I know it is early but it is a summer wedding and I already sent a save the date so it just gives me time...
I plan on mailing out by April 15.

Re: July Girls
my rsvp will be June1. So i guess we would send them out before 5-12??? so maybe we will save a bit on outer envelopes. Do you have to get wedding postage. I think our invites (if we ever order them ) are regular size and weight

don't feel bad - I haven't ordered mine yet either and we're two weeks before you.

Re: July Girls
My RSVP date is june 1st. I wanna make sure i get all back in time. I am sending them out last week of april or first week in may. I'll probably just pur the regular stamp on the outter and add a one cent stamp to the inner or put the forever stamp.

Re: July Girls
07er here..... since i was in the same situation last year ill tell you what i did
my rsvp date was June 1st. I put the normal wedding stamps on them. They still got delivered even without the extra two cents, so Im pretty sure the post office has a grace period. However if you are really worried about it I would either do the forever stamps or add that extra or two cent stamp.
