My wedding is 7/29, so the honeymoon will be the end of july/beginning of august.
Where are nice tropical places to go where a hurricane can't find me?
I know aruba is under the belt, but FH has already been there....

Hi, We are also getting married in July and encountered the same problem in finding a honeymoon destination. We looked into the Caribbean and many Travel Agents advised getting the trip insurance or go to Aruba, Curacao or Bonaire since they are out of the hurricane belt. We ended up booking our honeymoon to Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora because the weather will be perfect there in July. I would also look into Hawaii because the weather is nice all year round.

i have the same issue -- i originally booked mexico and got worried so i changed to aruba. but i think i chose that more as a solution than a place i really wanted to visit. i saw how excited so many girls were for their trip and i just wasn't. so now i'm looking into hawaii - a good solution to the hurricane problem and a great place to go (IMO.)
