I'm so behind the 8-ball..my wedding is in 9 months, and I have practically nothing done.
I was thinking about a champage or taupe colored BM dress for my wedding in July. I've seen a ton of posts with girls using this color in fall/winter weddings, and now I'm beginning to second guess my original idea.
My BM's and I have yet to go shopping, but just wondering what you think......
I have a few in mind, but no pictures to attach.

I'm doing light blue. But if you like champage or taupe then you should go with that! It doesn't matter what other people do. You can make it tea length to make it more summery.

i was in a july weddng and we wore champagne.. go with whatever color you want.. these days it seems like anything goes!

Champagne is a very pretty color and can be used all year round. I like that color, but you can also do a tiff blue or a pale pink or even yellow is really pretty

you can make anything light like that work for summer. i'd prob want to choose a bright secondary color to balance things out, but to each her own.

I'm a July wedding and I am probably doing red bm dresses. I was a bm in a july wedding two years ago, and the dresses were latte. I really think whatever colors you like are fine any time of year!

I'm doing misty pink with platinum. I really wanted platinum , but i was afraid it would blend too much with my dress, which is oyster, but the combo looks really pretty in the swatches I looked at. Don't be afraid to go for the colors you like. I was afraid platinum would be too wintery, but its your wedding so anything goes.

Anything goes these days! That color sounds great for July! I plan on doing light blue & sage green.
BTW, I'm also a July bride and I have not even begun to look at BM dresses yet either! And don't even have my dress yet either.. so I can relate..

i think it would be beautiful I think u could get away with those colors any time of year! My friend used champagne in august..her wedding was SO elegant & gorgous. do what u envision & what makes u happy!

Champagne is perfect all year round! Maybe compliment the dress with pastel flowers. I am going to do a rose color, I think... my opinion changes everyday!

My girls wore celadon (green) and do not worry about being behind. My girls ordered their dresses at the end of January and I did not have a photographer, limos, makeup/hair or flowers until then as well.

Hey date twin here is the dresses my bm's ordered, same color too and I am doing hot pink flowers
my wedding is also in july. i was going to do champagne dresses with pink flowers, but then i changed to brown. you can DEFINITELY do champagne/taupe!!!! esp since you can brighten it up with gorgeous flowers :)

You use whatever color you want to use any time of year. You can have black in April and light pink if February if you want.
I was married in August and my girls wore navy. If you want champagne / taupe, go for it.
ETA -- I fell in love with a couple champagne / taupe dresses, but didn't like how they looked next to my gown. Make sure you have someone put on THAT color dress and stand next to you in your gown so you can see how the colors look before you decide. It works with a lot of dresses, but I picked a different color based on this.

i agree just go with what you like! girls are using all colors any time of year, just make ur flowers brighter colors.
