July Wedding Colors

Im getting married on july 17, 2009 and since its the summer I really want to have yellow(canary) as my color for BM dresses..... does this work?

What color flowers would go best with yellow?

I'm open to any suggestions

My friends did yellow dresses in may and the flowers were awesome! They did bright pinks, oranges, yellows.

What kind of look are you going for? Elegant or fun?

For elegant I'd go with a combo of
yellow/white/blue
or
yellow/white/pink

For fun
I'd mix it all up
yellow/hot pink/hot orange

BTW - I'm July 16th!!!!!

i had posted earlier that my bridal party is wearing a pale yellow...maize by jim hjelm....and i did not tell you about the flowers ....which was your question....i am using all gerbera daisies in very bright and vibrant colors....orange, pink, green, brighter yellow than the dress, white, red...and possibly even blue since gerberas come in all colors....hope this is helpful

Yellow sounds nice, and I think a lot of colors for bouquets will go nicely with it. In my art class, they always said yellow and purple are complimentary colors. So I'd recommend purple flowers.

Hi,
I'm getting married in July and plan on having canary (yellow) too. In addition, my MOH will be in Azalea. Both colors work great together. There are tons of flowers that go with both dresses, especially stargazer lillies. Best of luck.

P.S. Wild Orchid looks good with yellow too.

BYW: We are using sheer for all dresses...it tones it down a bit.

I think yellow would be pretty...maybe green and white flowers in the bouquets or even pink

I had sage dresses with pink flowers...had a pink and green thing going
