My name is Lindsay. My fiance, Erik, and I have been engaged for about a month. We were planning on originally having a July 2010 wedding, but decided that we wanted to save up a bit and go bigger. We have not picked a place yet, but are looking forward to stopping by Flowerfield at the end of the month for their Bridal Showcase.
My bridesmaids all live out of state, so I'm trying to get as many tips and as much advice as I can wherever I can. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of ya as we start our planning process!

I'm definitely doing my research. I think I started about 6 months before we were even 'officially' engaged. lol When we were planning the smaller 2010 wedding we had some ideas of what to do if we went a little bigger and eventually that list was longer than the original one!
I've purchased both my dress and my shoes, which I absolutely love. I got my dress at David's Bridal and just fell in love with it instantly when I put it on. It was everything that I had been looking for! (And it was discontinued, so I got the last one in my size, AND on clearance!) When I got home, I wondered if I could have really found my dress after only trying on a few, but when I would look at other sites, including Kleinfeld, I realized that what I was looking for was exactly what I already had, just pricier, and I didn't love any of them quite as much.
