Just curious... did you pick this date or did you get it based on your hall availability? We wanted June/July and they only had June 10th or 4th of July weekend... so we chose June 10th!
What do you girls still have left to do? We have all our big vendors booked and just put our deposit down for our honeymoon last week! We recently sent out our STD's too.
Just little stuff left... favors, BM gifts, invites, etc... (it's a looooong list)

I wanted my wedding date to be on Friday October 13th 2006. but my FH got all superstious on me. My grandmother died on that exact date, even on friday. I thought it would have been a good way to remember her by. Her death was an end to her suffering so I didn't view it as a bad day. But joe didn't like it, so I made it a week earlier. It works out, its the day before a full moon. So it will be a beautiful nite.

Yayeeeee, 277 days to go!!!!!!! We have all the big stuff done, but kinda cheated since we got a package through Wedding World, so it was one-stop shopping. Right now we're working on getting an officiant and ordering the BM dresses. Oh yea, and the DIY projects.
We picked the date bc I wanted a Saturday in June and I wanted it to be a spring wedding, so that left us with 3 dates. I know of pepole with bdays on the 3rd and 17th, so that left the 10th free. Plus, I love the way 6-10-06 looks!!!!!

Hey: I love our date too!! I really don't think that I have too much left to do. I have to block hotel rooms, get invites, BP gidts, favors, shoes for me, placecards....that's all I can think of right now. All of our big vendors have been done for a while.

I know that this might sound silly. But I am sure all you girls will relate and understand. I didn't want Aunt Flo joining me on my honeymoon. So I took out the calendar and starting counting every 28 days. June 10th was one of the days that I knew Aunt Flo won't be visiting. I am on the pill so I have a pretty regular cycle. Then we went to the church and June 10th was available and so was my reception hall. So I guess I lucked out. But I do love the sound of June 10th and I love the 6-10-06 too!

Hi ladies,
New to the board, we pick our date 7/22/06 because we wanted to get the mid-range fare to St Lucia, we also wanted as many family members to attend as possible, therefore chose a time where it wouldn't be too expensive for all.
