I was just wondering when you girls are sending out your STD? I really want to get them out to all of my OOT guests which is probably about 30 ppl. Do you think that sending them out in July or August is too soon? Thanks for you help in advance!

hey. im not a june bride but i saw noone had answered so....there have been some posts about this before. i think most people say that you shouldnt send them out more then a year ahead but i think the average is sending them out like 8-11 months before. So I think its fine especially if you have oot guests and also cuz June is a popular month for vacation.

Im a July bride and planning to send my STD in July or August. I rather have them get them sooner especially since many people take vacations in the summer.

I am a May 30,2010 Bride (Sunday of Memorial Day weekend) and we are sending out our STDs about 11-12 months before...mainly because the wedding is on a holiday weekend...

Me too! I suggest as a June bride you do the same- send them out a year in advance- June can also be a very popular month for parties, bbqs, and vacations.

im a july 10 bride and i have had many people keep asking me when my wedding was because they are planning summer vacations so i am sending them out this month jsut to make sure people dont plan vacations that week

this is what i did as well (put some w/ my eparty thank yous, sending the rest out in july or august)

Thats what I did also, more like a year and a half early. FH's ENTIRE family is OOT so we figured why not. They were magnets it's not like they were going to get lost, they are on the fridge!

i'm a june bride!! and i am taking my engagement pictures june 17...then going to have them make it up into a magnet STD...i will prob. send them out in end of August/beginning of September. June is a very popular month so I feel if you send them out this summer-End of September the latest is perfect.

I'm a June bride!
(I just love saying that. I never thought I'd be able to be one.)
Anyway - our day is actually Father's Day, so we'll definitely be doing the save-the-date thing so people know in advance. I'm probably going to shoot for sending mine out sometime in August or September. We're going with magnets in hopes that people stick 'em on the fridge as a reminder. It's funny - I still have my best friend's and cousin's save-the-date magnets on my fridge and they got married in '06! They're cute, what can I say?!
