Did you pick up your dresses yet? My last fitting is supposed to be this Saturday, but I kind of want to ask my seamstress to keep it for 1 more week. What are you doing??
My sggestion is to get it early. I have heard too many horror stories about lost dresses, dresses not fitting, dresses that were stained at the seamstress, etc. Also gives you time to enjoy it...hang it in an extra room and stare at it for a while! Oh my god ladies! It is around the corner!
I think I'm goint to ask her to keep it one more week. She works out of her home, so I'm not worrying about it getting lost. It's strapless, and I think if I pick it up 2 weeks before the wedding, there might be last minute alterations. I am still trying to lose weight!
I already had my last fitting last week but she is gonna keep the dress with her till june 18 when I start my vacation. I didn't want it to hang at my place because i'll just keep staring at it all night and it'll just get me too nervous. I'm gonna be picking it up the day before to bring back to the hotel and she's gonna steam it out before I pick it up. I'm praying for beautiful weather that weekend. Are you girls nervous yet? I can't stop thinking and dreaming about that day and worrying if everything is gonna turn out the way it suppose to be like the flowers, music, and the food. I just can't wait till our three week honeymoon.
