I personally don't think I'd use them as a guest so if you're looking to cut something out I DEF think you could cut these out and no one would notice.
Thats what I'm thinking. I wouldn't use them either at a winter wedding as a guest so I'm leaning more towards cutting this out. I'm trying to gather more opinions on this. My BMs aren't helpful because they're wearing flats at the wedding so they don't care LOL
I personally don't think it would be worth it, but I'm not doing one for my summer wedding either. People will just dance barefoot if they get tired of their heels.
I'm having a winter wedding too and I'm definitely not doing a flip flop basket, I just don't have the extra funds for that.
I always bring flip flops with me to weddings winter or not. So people would use them but if its not something you want to spend money on then you shouldn't.

We're planning on it, but this is a great point. Maybe it isn't worth spending the money when it's going to be so cold. I personally take my shoes off and dance in bare feet if I've had enough drinks and forgot my roll-up flats!
I went to a January wedding and the bride gave out slipper socks. It was cute but I don't think doing a basket is a requirement.
UGH, I've been looking forward to it all year and I won't even be able to go!!! Lol
I agree with everyone else! Plus since it will be in winter it is very likely that all the ladies will be stockings of some sort. I know that I barely let my pasty legs show in the winter!! I'm doing a basket full of the lace socks since my wedding is in the fall and I didn't want flip flops in my pictures.

So my socks actually came in the mail today! I love them and I think they are going to look so cute in a basket. Plus I didn't have to worry about sizes because one size fits all! I highly recommend them!
I'm getting married the week before you and I was thinking about doing it!!! however- june 29th is my engagement party- idk if i'll have time to run down to old navy and get them!!! i wanna do a basket just because all my friends are obsessed with heels and are also obsessed with drinking- i just see it as a disaster and feel flip flops may be good for them!!!! :) i think i might!

I did 55. I have about 200 guest coming and I figure that half will be women and about half will actually take them.
