I am thinking I am behind...what has to still be done, I feel like so much. My wedding is June 14, 08, I do not htink I will be getting my invitations till mid April (they will be all ready to go) I was thinking of sending them out as soon as I got them, so that my guests have enough time to respond, plus I have that dreaded A and B list thing going on as well. I still have to find favors, I am having a wine theme and not finding anything that grabs my attention incredibly, any ideas for anything. Good luck to you all, hope to be chatting lots!

im not june but april is fine to send out invites for your date.
For favors, you can do bottles of wine to go with your theme

Hi date twin! I also feel like there is so much to do, but don't worry it will all get done. I think you'll be fine if you send your invites out mid-April, but I would definitely not go later than that since you have a B list. That way you have enough time for the no's to come in so that you can still send the next batch (and it not be June.. lol). There are a few girls doing wine themed favors so I'm sure you will find some great ideas here. Good luck!!

Thanks for the info ladies. We had thought about wine stoppers, they do have cute ones but we then decided against it. We are tossing the idea of wine bottles, yet we were looking for something more unique? Any other ideas? Anyone?

what about the italian favors that are hand painted. Like a section dish that is hand painted and will have grapes on it or a bottle of wine.

Thats a good idea, but where would i find something like that. I actually was at a baptism (big italian one, i am italian as well) and they gave this great little tuscan looking bowl, with grapes on it. But in searching could not find it anywhere, so it led me to believe that it was too pricey. But if you have some websites to look I would much appreciate it. Ok, really off to bed now.

i received a beautiful one at a wedding recently. It was from a store called fox's favors on northern boulevard in queens.

U are not alone my wedding is June 7,2008. No invites yet will have them out hopefully the first week of april!!! Favors are CD's for 200 guest still working on it !!!

I went toFox's to look for favors & they have some nice favors.
I think I saw the bowl you're talking about & it was $6-7 & they wrap them for you.
I really want mini cakes as favors but if that doen't come through then I plan to go to Fox's for these nice ice buckets I saw.

Don't panic, I'm a week before you and have yet to order mine. I did finally decide this weekend, now I just have to place the order. I wanted to do wine as well, good choice, but I'm too poor at this point. Good luck!

Hello date twin! Each bride is different and handles things on a different time fram. A lot of people on here including myself do things far in advance, but it's not always necessary. Don't worry you'll get everything done

I started off doing things so far in advance and then time just escaped me. I did not realize until now..how much time my jobs have taken up when I could have been doing wedding stuff. I said I wanted it all done by now so I could relax these last few months, and look what happened... Thanks for all the kind words, keep in touch girls, is there a June 08 brides thread?
