Anyone else getting a little nervous? i think i have it all under control, but last night I had a nightmare about the day! I feel like it was all so relaxed and fun, and then I woke up and overnight it has become a full time obsession!!! it is still fun, but has intensified for sure! where are you at with things? what are your priorities for the next few weeks? just checking in!!

Re: June brides
My list of little things is very long (too long). Once that's done, I think I'll be fine. But yes, I too wake up in the middle of the night...no nightmares (yet), just nerves.

We got our favors delivered to us this weekend so thats one thing done. All wrapped and ready to go.
We are meeting with our florist and the hall to go over final details and menu on May 15th.

Re: June brides
I am totally starting to freak out!! Last week, when I realized it was just 6 weeks I started feeling nauseous! I feel like there is no way all the little details will get done. I have like, no weekends left, and I'm so bad with procrastinating it's killing me. I haven't had any real nightmares lately, but I do wake up and start thinking of all the things still to be done and I can't get back to sleep.

Re: June brides
It's such a busy time of year with Graduations, Communions, Etc. My weekends are also packed...I feel bad but I feel like I have to start saying no to these things so that I can get my things done. (Sounds so selfish...right?).

Re: June brides
I keep having the same dream that it is my wedding day and the ceremony starts at 5:00 - I look at the clock and see that it is 4:45 and I have not even started to get ready! Then I miss the whole thing!

I feel like the things I have left to take care of are never ending, just when I'm about to cross something off my list another thing gets added.

Re: June brides
kelly - I don't think it makes you selfish to say no. People will need to understand that this takes a lot of work on limited time. If I was smart, I probably would have said no to this weekend's communion party on Saturday and 11th birthday party on Sunday, but I'm afraid even if I did, I would have put everything off anyway. Bad me!!!

Re: June brides
My date is June 1. Yikes!!!!
I feel like there is SO much to do, but I'm not really too stressed out yet. We had a very busy week, though, met with the DJ, picked menu at caterer, and today we got our marriage license and had our engagement portraits. I have my 2nd fitting this week and also want to do my 2nd hair trial soon. I've been running around since 8:30 this morning, it's now 4:30 and I have to start work!! Ugh!
But I'm sleeping okay (probably 'cause I'm exhausted every night), and no nightmares, yet.
Only 26 days to go!

Re: June brides
Well, I can't say I have had any nightmares (yet), but you guys are right, it's the little things at the end that seem to add up very quickly. I was productive this week, had my final appointment with videographer, picked out all of my BM's gifts and wrapping paper, picked out my bridal jewelry, figured out our wedding song (At Last, Etta James). I received most of my responses back, so I should have a final head count this week so I can start seating plans and placecards. Meeting with the hall next week to pick out my menu. I was happy because we received quite a large number of 'no' responses so I'm not stressing out about money as much as I was before the invites went out.

Re: June brides
We have recieved most of our responses back too and we didn't get 1 no yet....'sigh'. People we thought would say no are coming and the people we thought wouldn't bring guests are...more the merrier I guess : ). We were orginally having a very small wedding...about 70 guests, now we're expecting about 115.

Re: June brides
We started with about 220 people(way too many people!), and will probably have about 160. I'm very happy about that.
