June Brides-Help!

June Brides-Help!

FH and I have pretty much narrowed down our month to June...FINALLY!

But now starts my hunt for a wedding dress. The one that I was in love with is a little too heavy for a June wedding. Dress

So now it's back to square one. For all the June brides out there, do you mind sharing a pic of your dress??

Thanks!!

I'm not June, but July...

Sry, not getting married in the summer anymore, but I'm keeping the same dress, it's organza....I think if you use a light weight fabric like tulle or organza, you'll be fine regardless of the size of your dress...

It is a Casablanca, I actually loved the dress and it was a lot lighter then others I tried on! Here's the site if you want to check out other styles.

did you book a hall yet? you said you narrowed it down to june so sounds like you didnt but im not sure. Definitely call soon and do this bc alot of places are booked and june is a very popular month. If you do find something now make sure they work with you on the price bc since you're booking so close to the date, they usually give you a great price per person

We actually got a great deal or so i think and it's for a date that is in HIGH demand....FH and I are most likely going to call the RH tomorrow but we are just making sure that we are able to meet the min. they gave us.

well good as long as you get a great price no matter where you book, since its under 6 months they should. Good luck. Yeah also people do cancel weddings so dates become available, so high demand dates are possible even late in the game

if you want light material, go with chiffon, organza, tafetta, or even a light lace. Satin is very heavy. My wedding is in Aug so I was looking for the same thing.

my dress is Tafetta

Here's my dress--it's lace over delustered satin (whatever that means haha....but it's not very heavy b/c it's pretty slim lines and not a lot of volume on the bottom:

Here's mine -- Very light and airy for July.
I did love a Satin one, but it was too heavy.
