Junior Bridesmaid

Junior Bridesmaid

Instead of asking my fsil to be a bm my fh suggested i ask his neice to be a junior bridesmaid. I'm all for it but what duties does she actually perform? We have three gm and three bm...do i have to pair the junior up with someone? Clearly she wouldn't be coming to the bachelorette party or contributing to the bridal shower. I'm a little confused about what their role is.

I think they are pretty much a glorified flower girl...they really cant contribute to any wedding details, so basically they just dress up and look pretty and walk down the aisle lol

My niece has been waiting for me to get married since she was about 6 (shes been DYING to be a flowergirl).. needless to say, she is now 11 (today is her bday) so she will obviously not be my flowergirl but rather my junior BM... I feel the same about their 'role' ... it's basically a glorified flowergirl... I am sure I will find 'duties' for her hehe

My best friend's daughter, who is 9, is going to be a Jr. Bridesmaid. And she will be helping her mom, the MOH, with the shower, such as making things, assisting with traking the RSVPs, etc.

Kids are smart and can do a lot of things to help. I don't think adults give them much credit. I don't see her as a glorified flowergirl at all.

Ok, what kind of creative things can I have her do? I would love for her to participate in things
