So I had thoughts about using FH's cousin's children , they are 9 and 12. Def junior bridesmaid and not flower girl right? She's probably as tall as me now lol! I feel kind of mean but I honestly don't feel like putting them in... it's just more work, I don't want their mother to pay for their outfits, and I'm just keeping everything intimate so I want to eliminate anything excessive. I get overwhelmed really easily. They also don't really know me very well and it would be cute so sometimes I think about it, but... I dunno. Their mother is super excited though about the wedding so I hope she doesn't end up disappointed if we don't use them. They'll be invited to the wedding for sure anyway!

Re: junior bridesmaid?
Deff not flower girls, but they can be junior bridesmaids. Though if you dont want to watch or deal with kids on ur day then you shouldn't feel obligated to add them. I know they are your cousins but if they every mention anything just say you are have a small bridal party and would like to keep in intimate...if not don't say anything...its your day and ur decision in the end.

Re: junior bridesmaid?
Sounds more like you'd rather not have them in the wedding. Go with what your more comfortable with. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.

I agree. You shouldn't feel pressured to put people in the wedding party just because. It would be nice, but definitely a lot more work.

Re: junior bridesmaid?
Good I'm glad it's not just me that thinks it's more work! It would be really cute but then their mother has to come and watch them all day and everything. I think I have enough with kids all day (I used to work as a teacher and still teach privately)
I would not put anyone in my wedding for an obligtion, in fact, I am fighting with my sister right now cause she feels that I should include my brother-in-law in the wedding, we are not close and he has met my FH 2 times in the four years that we have been together (they live in GA and don't visit often). Just because they are family doesnt mean that they need to be in the wedding, they are too old for flower girls and if you are not close there is no need. (Just my opinion though)

Re: junior bridesmaid?
keep it simple - if you don't want it, don't have it! we get this day to be ours however we want it sooooo OH WELL to anyone else
