Junior Bridesmaid gift question
So we were married back in July. Due to my new job I was unable to do a formal pre-wedding bridesmaid's luncheon... I was out of town the entire month of June and had 3 weeks to put the final plan on our wedding, which turned out fabulous.
So I have been giving my BM's their gifts the last few months as I see them. I haven't had a chance to see my FG, but her mom know's what I got her... her mom was also a BM and I plan on getting the gift there soon. However, I found out from DH that his cousin had inquired of my in-laws as to why his daughter (the junior BM) never got a gift for being in the wedding... meanwhile I had emailed his wife several times about dropping off her gift. However, the responses I got were that they were very busy with sports practices and games and such.
I had bought her a precious moments Junior Bridesmaid figurine. I was going to add something to this, but I'm now a little annoyed. We are also expecting a baby and DH was laid off at work recently so money's a bit tight for us (don't you just love family asking where THEIR gift is when you are going through tough times)... and most of all, I think they are rude for asking my inlaws about this, especially when I said I had something for her. I should also say, we never got a Congrats about the pregnancy nor do they even seem to care. Should I get her something additional or just leave it with the figurine, give it a week or so and try to drop off the gift during the holidays with a separate x-mas gift? They accused us too of blowing them off b/c we missed a gathering b/c I wasn't feeling well the day after my flu shot... this we got all from my FIL. Nice - right?
