okay stupid question.... what is their role in the wedding? what should they do during the dance, when they get intrduced, do they usually where the same dress as the maids? any ideas about this?

I actually had 2 junior bridesmaids. One was 9 and the other was 11. So during the church I had them walk down the aisle together, and walking into the reception they also walked in together. During the first quite honestly I am not sure what they did. About their dresses, originally I was looking for a different dress then the rest of the bridesmaids, but a friend of the family made their dresses to match the bridemaids (top of dresses were different - but they were very similar). Let me know if you have any other questions
oh yeah - the only responsibility that they had was to pass out the bubbles after the church. We just wanted them to be part of our day - not to really do too much.

Here's our Jr. BM and Jr. GM's responsibilities/duties, they were both 12 years on our wedding day.
• Jr. BM is to report to bride's parent's house along with rest of maid of honor and bridesmaids. Jr. GM is to report at our new apartment along with rest of best man and groomsmen. • Distribute programs to all guests after they take their seats prior to the start of ceremony. (We will provide a basket for you to carry. When our ceremony begins you do not have to walk down the aisle with these program baskets). • Stand and greet guests at receiving line. • Form an arch with all groomsmen upon bride and groom’s entrance and first formal introduction as husband and wife at our reception using BM's floral bouquet's ribbon.
• Stand next to all wedding party members in formal photos and videography poses.

I had two Jr BM (ages 7 and 10). They wore a different dress, I'll post a pic (its the middle picture but they had it in navy). They handed out the rose petals after the ceremony, were introduced in to reception but didn't dance. I also had a fg who wore an ivory dress with navy sash.
I am having a junior BM- but she is 17.. I did not feel it was appropriate for her to be a full on BM- when everyone is so much older than her-- youngest BM is 25, oldest 32. Bascially- it's more of a title for her, and a way to include her, without any responsibilties- she has one of the same dresses (everyone is wearing different) and she'll probably walk her grandfather (also FH's grandpa) she is his first cousin- down the aisle.

i'm having 4 juniors actually..big bridal party..they will give out the programs and i'm thinking of doing the polaroid guest book so i'm sure they would love to do that..still thinking though!!
eta: my juniors are wearing the same dress as my maids..we have a rainbow so they will have different colors.

My Jr. BM wore the same dress as the girls she just had straps put on it.
She walked into the reception with the FG and RB and dance with them. She also came to my house to get read with us.
Her responsibility was to pick up all the cameras from the tables at the end of the night.

okay do here is another question... i am only having her.. no RB.. i am having my niece who will be 14 months old being pulled be her in a decorated wagon.. trying to incorporate my beautiful neice. how will i intoduce her at the reception.. what i mean is who should she walk in with or can she come in by herself.
