Junior Bridesmaids

There will be 3 jr. bridesmaids in the wedding party. By the time of the wedding two of the girls will be 12 and the other will be 9. Where are the best places to look for age appropriate dresses? How long does it take for jr. bridesmaids dresses to come in?

Junior Bridesmaids

Im in the same boat. My Jr. BM will be 9 12 and 14. Since most of them are developed I was told that I should just order regular BM dresses for them.

I will prob just go to Davids Bridal since they are cheap and they can get them in fast. I was told about 5 months in advanced by Bridal Reflections, but I know Davids Bridal has a faster turn around time. HTH

Our Jr. bridesmaids (9 & 13) are wearing the same dress. The 13 year old will have thick straps added (this is not her comfort zone and we want her to feel comfortable), her dress will be the same color as the BM since she is walking down the aisle with a groomsman.
The 9 year old will have the thin straps that comes with the dress (she would want to go strapless- she is turning 18 soon-haha) and since she isn't walking with anyone, she is also considered the flower girl. Her dress is a lighter shade.

Our jr. bridesmaids dresses come in junior size, not all do.

Comfort is a big deal to me, especially for the older girls. Ideally I'd like for them to wear something they could also pair with a fancy sweater they could throw over their shoulders if they get chilly.

David's Bridal is a great idea, and I also thought about waiting until August when the department stores start getting their fall items in.

By the way, FH's daughter asked me if she could change into jeans after the ceremony. Umm...NO

Junior Bridesmaids

My 12 year old niece is wearing the same dress as everyone but adding straps. She was on the cusp of db jr bridesmaid dresses so they said I should go with the bm dress.

Junior Bridesmaids

My junior bridesmaid is my niece and she will be 11 the day of the wedding. I went to bridal reflections in Massapequa to order her dress along with the BP. I picked a different dress for her to wear as I didn't want her looking too grown up for her age. They have so many to look through downstairs. I went in Jan. and was told that all the dresses would be in by May.

I got mine from Alford Angelo ..they have really nice ones ...and it was the same as the BMs dresses they all come in at the same time ..I have two jrs

I was recently at bridal reflections massapequa and their whole downstairs section is junior bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. They had a great selection with a lot of diff designers, you should check them out.
