Junk Mail since being on this web site!

Hi! I have a concern that I wanted to share with you guys and ask your opinions about...

Since being on this web site, I have received numerous stuff in the mail from wedding vendors, saying things like 'you visited liweddings.com last week and we wanted to let you know about our services'!!!!

I went with Burton's Bridals in Melville. They were excellent, alterations were capped at $35, they are also small, but much more friendly than the Bridal Garden.

Did you enter the 'win $1000 contest'? I had 2 vendors contact me and I never went to a bridal show as one of them told me. The other said they got my # from this website. How? That is the only thing I ever put my address/phone on. I sent liweddings and email regarding it and they never responded. If that is where they got my personal information, I think it was rather underhanded because it was under the premise of being in the running for a prize that I entered my unlisted #. By the way, does anyone know if there was ever a winner announced? I remember someone asking but never saw a response.

When the reception is immediately following the ceremony, how do the pictures get done?

I just got mail the other day addressed to my husband and I. It was from a DJ saying he noticed my name on this site. I do not have a profile so they must have gotten my husband's name from the $1000 contest. How strange since it was just this week I realized a newlywed could enter, and I submitted and entry a few days before the mail arrived. Hummm...
I think I will write to LIWeddings and ask about name selling because they do not post any indication of this that I can find. This is especially annoying since I am married already and have no need for their services.
