Just a heads u for girls who are havng bird seed thrown at them.....

It hurts!! It also got all in my hair and down my dress. I could smell it all night!!! DH said no one else could. I was sweating (church was hot) and it stuck to my face and anyother exposed skin. Just something to consider!!

none of that designer vanilla stuff(melts on your skin)

I wanted to do the fake rice but the church will only let us do bird seed or bubbles. We decided on the bubbles route for that very reason.

Not to be a party pooper...but just be wary...bubbles can leave soap circles on satin dresses when the bubbles burst on your dress. Sorry...another obstacle.

Bubbles, you could copy Jen2999 and do the ribbon idea...or butterflies would be nice...or while the two of you walk out someone could do a releasing of doves....i always thought would be neat!

I used the fake designer rice - it didn't melt, and it was really warm that day. But it did get in my hair and dress - but I shook it out (and my hair stayed put too).

How about sparklers?

That's the reason I'm staying away from bubbles too - we're throwing rose petals!!!

The butterflies are difficult because they have to be kept at the exact right conditions in order to maintain hibernation until you are ready to release them, and then you do want them awake....but not too long so they don't die in their little containers.....many a bride has had 'dead' (or hibernating) butterfiles thrown at them.......not so cool if not done right! Sorry girls but I think butterflies are out too....

My friend got married this past weekend and handed out bells. Everyone rang them as the bride and groom walked out. It was cute.

I got the non staining bubbles at Wrap with Us. They have a large bubble selection. WE bought the ones of the little cakes because they were non staining. Just be sure you read the specific boxes carefully before falling in love with a cute one that isn't stain free. Happy Shopping!

We did bubbles and it looked it great! A friend mentioned she was picking the seed out of places that she never knew it would get in at the end of the night, lol.
