.. just a little annoyed today...
first off, i leave for work today, pick up my friend then stop for something to drink before heading to work. Walk out, my contact is bothering me and it falls out. look at it and its ripped. It's too late to go home so i had to work the entire day with only 1 eye seeing properly... which drove me insane.
come home, internet is down (damnn verizon haha) i needed to get on to see how much money was in my checking account to pay the dentist and if i had to transfer $. Ask my father how i can fix it, he gets all aggrivated at me, that i can deal without the internet for a few hours (not even knowing why i needed it) I hate when he gets like that, he gets busy and doesnt even want to hear what i have to say.
then i had a dentist appointment. i have mentioned in the past that I have the clear braces, i started off with Orthoclear which no longer exists so had to switch to invisiline.
I sit down and my dentist comes up to me, doesnt look at my teeth just takes out the box of braces and says you'll have to eat soft food, then walks away. So i'm sitting there and questioning 'why do I need to eat soft food' i havent had to in the past. These arent bracketed braces where I need to worry about them falling off. you take them on and off. so that made me mad. don't just make a statement that i have no clue about and walk away... am i supposed to read your mind?
then the girl tells me to switch seats (which was wierd also). So i say to her that he mentioned i shouldnt eat hard food, but i have no idea why. She replies 'he didn't explain this to you?', .. UM NO!!! so she proceeds to tell me that Invisiline is recommending that i have 3 brackets glued to my teeth because it will help them move faster/better and i guess when they looked at my teeth they felt this would be the best way to go. So i ask 'so i can't eat hard food for the whole the rest of the 1 year left I have to wear these?' so yeah, im supposed to stay away from hard food.. this to me (a carnivore haha) is ridiculous. haha so i guess I'll deal, but im annoyed because the whole point of having these invisiline is so i dont have to deal with brackets...
sorry.. needed to get that out.
let me just say though.. i still love the invisiline its still much better than braces!
