Just a little rant about FSIL...is it me?
So FSIL lives just outside of D.C....calls us and asks what train station is near us...so I am like...why would you need that? Well, she replies we are going to take the train up for your wedding...her, her husband, 2 kids (3 & 8)...and HER in-laws who she felt should be invited to our wedding...who she said to...just invite them...they won't come...oh but they ARE coming.....THEN she books HER in-laws in one of the rooms at our wedding location, that FH had specifically set aside for his immediate family and BP friends flying in from Israel..(she knew this)...we only found out because our RH called us about the rooms.....so now she and her family will need to be picked up from a train 2 days before the wedding/day of RD...and driven to the RD...and anywhere else they may want to go...why the %$#@ would you not DRIVE up from there especially with kids and luggage?? We've driven there many times & it's taken 5 hours...they drive to Indianna with the kids to see FMIL and it's like an 8hr drive...and they have plenty of $...so that is not the issue...she is older than FH and always pulls the 'i know better than you' card...and what pisses me off the most is FH never calls her on her BS...he says it's not worth it...well one day she needs to be put in her place and told the world does not revolve around her...she will even call the house after 10pm...when she KNOWS FH goes to bed early..and tells me 'Wake him up...i need to ask him something'...she was playing poker with friends and wanted to see who's hand won....not anything important like Grandma's sick....then the other nite she calls at 10:30pm...EVERYONE i know doesn't call after 10pm cause they know FH is asleep...sorry i am just rambling on..there is so much more i could add but won't...she is just making me want to go taekwondo on her lately...i've put up with her for the last 5 years..the best part is she is our officiant! haha...is it just me? I get along amazingly with my brother's wife (MOH)...why can't she be more like her???
